O my hunger is glory, Your beauty is my thirst. My desire has been taken up to the heavenly order. Let me leave the earth behind and run to You, so that I may be filled always. You are the light of my heart, the thirst of my soul. You have taken my heart from where You dwell. "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart." — Jeremiah 29:13 Lord, we truly seek You. Holy Spirit, in this morning we seek You — gathering our minds, our whole being. Those who sought You were filled with Your glory; they held fast to Jesus until the end, even to death on the cross. Joyfully they surrendered themselves. Lord, we seek You today too — lifting our eyes from earthly things. We pray that the mind that was in Jesus Christ would be honored in us today. Be filled in every way. As the Word says: in every way, fill us. Amen.
